Marble boy at PetSmart with some curly fins that may or may not indicate fin rot? I don’t really need another but I’m considering him because I am a SUCKER for unique things, and he’s pretty unique. His whole mouth is outlined in black. He’s in a 1/2 gallon at the store (better than his cup) but I can’t decide about him…if it’s fin rot or not.
That’s 100% not rot! He’s just got either too big of fins with wonky rays which curled over or, when he was young or even as he was in the cup, they didnt have room to unfurl.
They may(?) uncurl in time with a good diet and a healthy environment, which would benefit him while he swims.
He is also very pretty! Wow, what a cutie.
The fins look are amazing.
